ATA Spec 2000/e-Business Announces New Director of Marketing and Sales

Washington, Sept. 6, 2002 - The Air Transport Association (ATA) is pleased to announce that Ken Jones has joined the organization as director of marketing and sales for Spec 2000/e-Business.

Jones comes to ATA with over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. Most recently, he served as director of data & integration at Cordiem, a collaborative B2B aviation industry eSolutions provider owned by major airlines and manufacturers. Previously, he spent over 19 years at Contintental DataGraphics (CDG), a Boeing company, where he last served as director of marketing for the company's engineering services group. Previous positions at CDG included marketing and sales management, project management and product development.

Jones was heavily involved with the start up of the ATA Spec 2000 Aviation Marketplace. He has participated in the management and development of a variety of Spec 2000, material management, International Airline Technical Pool (IATP) projects and working groups.
